Senior IT Support Specialist

Summary: 
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior IT Support Staff to join our team. As a Senior IT Support Staff, you will play a crucial role in providing technical assistance and support to our organization's computer systems and network infrastructure. You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our technology resources and resolving any hardware or software issues that may arise.
In this role, you will be the go-to person for all IT-related problems and queries. You will work closely with our IT team to implement and maintain the company's IT policies and procedures, ensuring that all systems are up to date and secure. Additionally, you will provide end-user support and training to ensure that all staff members are able to effectively utilize our technology resources.

The ideal candidate for this position has extensive knowledge of computer hardware and software systems, as well as strong problem-solving skills. You should be able to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently and effectively. Additionally, you should have excellent communication skills and be able to explain technical concepts to non-technical staff members.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware.
  • Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, and scanners.
  • Monitor and maintain computer systems and networks to ensure uninterrupted operation.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues in a timely manner.
  • Train staff members on the use of hardware and software systems.
  • Maintain inventory of equipment, software licenses, and warranty information.
  • Collaborate with IT team members to implement and maintain IT policies and procedures.
  • Analyze and optimize system processes to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of improvements for existing IT systems.
  • Provide technical support for system setup and configuration during new store openings, both remotely and on-site.
  • Collaborate with various teams to ensure a smooth IT integration process for new store locations.
  • Establish effective communication channels with technical and non-technical departments to identify key tasks and project deadlines.
  • Provide status reports and ensure project-oriented work efforts remain stable and on track.
  • Conduct testing of project applications to identify and resolve issues before deployment.
  • Document business processes and create end-user training materials, SOPs, and checklists for new applications.
  • Conduct end-user and operations training to ensure proper utilization of new applications and systems.
  • Facilitate final assessments for management trainees related to system proficiency.
  • Assist management in identifying opportunities to leverage the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system to achieve enterprise goals.
  • Collaborate with relevant teams to implement effective ERP strategies and solutions.
  • Undertake any other tasks assigned by management to support IT operations and initiatives.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualification:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum 5+ years of IT support experience, including advanced troubleshooting and project coordination responsibilities.
  • Strong knowledge of computer hardware, Windows environments, software deployment, networking, printers, and peripheral devices.
  • Experience supporting POS systems, ERP systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and enterprise applications.
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues independently.
  • Strong leadership skills with ability to mentor team members and manage priorities.
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
  • Strong project management, time management, and organizational skills.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to service excellence.
  • Ability to travel to store locations as needed.
  • Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Physical Requirements:
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • This job may require standing or walking for extended periods of time, lifting up to 50 pounds, and performing repetitive motions.

Working Conditions: 
  • Ability to work effectively in a technical environment, handling various hardware and software tools.

Position Details:
  • Employment Type: Full Time
  • Location: 6338 Regio Ave Buena Park, CA 90620
  • Working Schedule: Monday - Friday 9:00AM - 5:30PM
  • Available to work on flexible schedules, such as weekends and holidays as necessary.

Compensation:
The pay range for this position is $70,500.00 - $80,000.00, depending on experience. This is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) the responsibilities of the job, your education, skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
