Position Summary:
We are seeking a reliable, customer-focused Store Technical Support to keep our retail technology running smoothly. In this role, you will support store employees and customers by troubleshooting hardware, software, network, and point-of-sale issues, and serve as the go-to resource for keeping store systems up and running. This position is based in Northern California and requires travel to other states to provide on-site support.
Responsibilities:
We are seeking a reliable, customer-focused Store Technical Support to keep our retail technology running smoothly. In this role, you will support store employees and customers by troubleshooting hardware, software, network, and point-of-sale issues, and serve as the go-to resource for keeping store systems up and running. This position is based in Northern California and requires travel to other states to provide on-site support.
Responsibilities:
- Provide in-person, phone, and remote technical support to store staff.
- Troubleshoot point-of-sale systems, payment terminals, printers, scanners, tablets, computers, and other store equipment.
- Diagnose and resolve network, Wi-Fi, software, account-access, and device issues.
- Set up, maintain, and replace store technology and peripherals.
- Track support requests, document solutions, and escalate complex issues to [IT team or vendor] when needed.
- Coordinate with vendors, IT teams, and store leadership to minimize operational downtime.
- Train employees on correct use of store systems and technology.
- Maintain technology inventory, equipment records, and security procedures.
- Travel to stores in other states to provide on-site technical support as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree is a plus.
- 1-3 years of technical support, help desk, retail technology, or related experience preferred.
- Working knowledge of computers, mobile devices, printers, networks, Wi-Fi, and troubleshooting methods.
- Familiarity with the LOC SMS point-of-sale system preferred.
- Strong customer-service, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to prioritize issues in a fast-paced retail environment.
- Ability to work overtime, including after hours, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
- Willingness to travel to other states for on-site support.
- Ability to lift and move technology equipment up to 40 pounds.
Position Details:
- Employment Type: Full Time.
- Location: 2931 Faber Street, Union City, CA 94587.
- Travel: 15% ~25%.
- Available to work on weekends and holidays as necessary.

Compensation:
